Private Lesson Policies:
Each student must have his or her own instrument before enrolling in private lessons. We do not sell or rent instruments. If you need a recommendation on what and where to buy, please call us. We're happy to help you make an informed purchase!
To have a weekly reserved time slot, you must purchase lessons in one month blocks or more. Paying per individual lesson will not guarantee you a recurring time slot. Tuition is due on or before your first lesson of the enrollment period. Unless you provide notice to terminate lessons, enrollment will be automatically renewed at the initial term and rates.
Tuition must be paid via automatic debit from a checking or savings account or via a pre-authorized recurring credit card charge. We do not accept Check or Cash as ongoing form of payment.
There is a $25 fee for any returned ACH fees.
Lessons that are canceled by a student due to illness or conflict may be rescheduled provided the student gives at least 24 hours notice of his/her inability to attend. While we will make every effort to ensure these lessons are rescheduled, they are subject to teacher availability and therefore can not be guaranteed. Tuition is still due in full regardless of the number of lessons attended.
Lessons that are canceled by your instructor will be rescheduled upon his/her availability.
Kindermusik Policies:
A non-refundable deposit of $50 is due upon registration. The remaining tuition is due at the first class. A $10 late fee is due if payment is not received before the second class. Your class reservation will be forfeit if payment is not received before the third class.
There is a $25 fee for returned checks.
At home material is provided for each registered student and is included in tuition. Registering for classes at least 3 weeks before the semester begins will ensure your material is available at the first class. We cannot guarantee on-time arrival if you register for class within 3 weeks of the start date.
Due to limited class sizes, non-enrolled siblings can only be accommodated when they are young enough to stay contented in a car carrier or stroller during the class.
A snack will be available for students at the conclusion of each class. Please do not bring toys, juice cups or pacifiers into the classroom.
This is a music and MOVEMENT class, so please dress comfortably.
Classes will be made up in the event of teacher illness or inclement weather. Any class that you are unable to attend otherwise will be forfeit.
Holiday & Other Closings:
UAMA is closed on New Year's Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, & the week of Christmas. We’ll also be closed on days when a level two snow emergency has been declared for Franklin County. Private Lessons falling on any day when the school is closed are not rescheduled.
